This is Tarik Clark, and I did my 25 years without telling my mother anything about the drama/violence that I witnessed or participated in. It was already stressing her out that TV always put a 100 on a 1, so if I told her anything, I had to understand the only visual she had was what TV showed her. Everytime I called I was upbeat, smiling through the phone, telling her about the progress I’m making with change. Tiffany, I would love to do your podcast.
